As a notified body, we provide comprehensive services in the field of conformity assessment and certification of recreational craft and personal watercraft in accordance with the RCD (Recreational Craft Directive). We ensure the entire process leading to CE marking.
The assessment applies to recreational craft with a length of 2.5 m to 24 m intended for sport and leisure purposes, personal watercraft (PWC), as well as inboard and outboard engines with regard to exhaust emissions and noise, and selected components listed in Annex II (e.g. fuel tanks, hoses and steering systems).
The purpose of CE marking is to confirm that a product meets the essential requirements of European legislation regarding safety, health protection, environmental protection, and user protection.

When importing a craft without CE marking, a Post-Construction Assessment (PCA) must be carried out, during which the Czechoslovak Lloyd team verifies compliance with the requirements of Directive 2013/53/EU.
